The Ritz Players is a community theater group composed of talented singers, dancers, and musicians dedicated to the preservation of the arts. Ten years ago a group of volunteers performed a few Broadway show tunes for local mentor Bobbie Gamble's eightieth birthday party- thus the Ritz Players were born.
In 2007 our first stage show, Puttin' on the Ritz, was a huge success featuring music from Hair, Cats, and Oklahoma. Following Puttin' on the Ritz was Encore! in 2008 with selections from ABBA, Oliver, and Guys and Dolls. Our 2009 show, Shine, pleased sold out crowds with numbers from The Wiz, The Wizard of Oz, Wicked, Chicago, and Motown favorites. 2010 brought us back to 'Putting on the Ritz'- which the show is still named today. Audiences are overwhelmed with excitement each year as they see their local friends and nieghbors performing shows fit for a Broadway Stage.
